Uniforms and Accoutrements

The NAFIL Tailoring Workshop is an initiative of the Nigerian Air Force Investments Limited management towards making the Nigerian Air Force self-sufficient at uniforms production. The initiative was borne by the desire to key into some of the drivers of the current Chief of the Air Staff’s vision. These include human capacity development through robust and result oriented training for enhanced professional performance, robust logistics support and maintenance culture to sustain platforms and equipment serviceability as well as reinforced culture of self-reliance and prudent management of resources.

The NAFIL Tailoring Workshop, which is located within the serene and secure Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, meets international standards of a world class tailoring facility. There are ample offices, storage facilities and conveniences available within the Workshop. It also has an enhanced working environment and a total of ninety six different industrial tailoring machinery, which are used for diverse purposes. The Workshop is expected to help not only the Nigerian Air Force, but other sister Services, schools and even the general public meet their tailoring needs. The facility equally serves as a training establishment for airmen recruited into the Nigerian Air Force as tailors and civilians interested in the art of professional sewing.

The Workshop started operations immediately after its commissioning on 8 June 2017. With a production capacity of 5,000 pairs of clothing monthly, it has produced 2,000 units of Number 4 trousers for the Nigerian Air Force and about 3,000 pairs of security uniforms for Imanue Easykleen, a private outfit charged with the production of uniforms for various embassies security personnel. The Workshop is also meeting the uniform requirements of the Nigerian Air Force recruits at its Military Training Centre.

NAFIL is geared towards offering efficient tailoring services. Our pledge is to provide
