NAFIL entered into partnership with NISPO Pharmaceuticsl for the operation of the Drug Manufacturing Unit (DMU) at NAF Base Ikeja. The facility has a serving NAF Pharmacist overseeing it as the Director, DMU. In 2017, NAFDAC granted DMU approval to produce paracetamol tablets 500mg and vitamin C flavored tablets.
This portfolio has commenced operations with production of these drugs in commercial quantity. The products were introduced into the pharmaceutical markets in February 2018. There are 5 drugs that are currently being produced by NAFIL DMU.
